26-year-old Tania Lopez Assia of Toronto, Ontario, is a Colombian born delegate
representing Canada internationally in Bolivia this coming March 2021.
She arrived in Canada at the age of 17, with no family members, so she overcame many challenges as an immigrant but found a way in this country. She graduated with
her first degree in Business Administration- Marketing, and she is pursuing her second
degree in Finance and Business Economics at York University. Now, she is a proud
associate of the Edward Jones financial firm.
She knows the challenges that immigrants face in this country. Hence, she is genuinely
thankful that she can represent her Hispanic roots in this international pageant because
she wants to use the platform to send a message of unity to her entire community living
in Canada. Tania will represent a country that she loves and a whole that needs a
spokesperson to promote beauty, integrity, and tenacity.
Her experience in Canada taught her to work hard for what she wants; Tania learned
that to achieve something big, she has to give her best at all times, and she is aware
that the path is not always easy, but it will always be worth it. Tania is looking forward to
work closely with the Hispanic community, teaching them financial literacy, especially
to newcomers, to help them start their financial goals in a new Country.
Sharing her experience with the community will create a sense of relativeness and unity.

Reina Hispanoamericana is a new challenge that Tania is looking forward to fulfilling
successfully. She is preparing herself to give her best to represent the Canadian

Tania loves to know about new cultures and learn from other people's experiences.
Being part of this pageant will allow her to meet women from more than 35 different
countries and learn from each single one of them. She considers herself as a big
dreamer, and above all, to always view things with positivity. She wants to inspire other
people to keep dreaming, keep working hard, and never give up. She knows that "The
The best way to predict your future is to create it." She is looking forward to making Canada
proud, pursuing the crown.
